The Model Y of the 5-seater Giga Shanghai currently starts at CNY 261,900 for the rear-wheel-drive version.
The long-range Model Y costs around CNY311,900 before options, and the Performance Model Y starts at CNY361,900.
Meanwhile, the Tesla Model 3 RWD costs CNY229,900 before options, and the Model 3 Performance starts at CNY329,900.
Between Model 3 and Model Y, Giga Shanghai can produce 20,000 units per week as of February 1, 2023.
