Volkswagen has revealed the Black Edition, a special black design with sporty touches for 4 popular models.


Volkswagen has revealed the Black Edition, a special black design with sporty touches for four popular models: the Golf, Polo, Taigo, and T-Roc.


The Black Edition comes in deep black for all four models, with sporty black accents including a new front grille, black alloy wheels, black side mirrors, black logos, and a black rear diffuser. Some models also feature additional accents such as a black roof or black rear spoiler.

Having popular cars, but with special touches and limited editions, is what some customers love, so Volkswagen has revealed the Black Edition, in elegant black for 4 of its most popular models.


The Black Edition special edition unveiled by Volkswagen outperforms the popular R-Class in the Volkswagen Group.


But of course, it's more expensive, adding up to £3,875 of extra equipment.


Starting from July 4, customers can order the newly enhanced Volkswagen Golf hatchback, Polo supermini, T-Roc SUV, and Taigo Coupe in new ‘Black Edition’ specifications.


Volkswagen Black Edition Specifications


The German company's special Black Edition includes distinctive and elegant black design elements with a sporty design.


Such as tinted rear windows, alloy wheels, side mirrors, roof bars, and other exterior equipment.


The Black  Edition cars also feature larger wheels than the regular models; the Polo has 17-inch wheels, while the other models have 18-inch wheels.


Volkswagen Black Edition Prices


In terms of version, both Polo models can be upgraded. And Taigo From R-Line to Black Edition for just £500, giving the customer nearly £3,000 extra in equipment.


Opting for the Black Edition package for the new Golf or T-Roc will increase the price by £1,000 per vehicle, and in the case of the T-Roc, will result in a pack of extra equipment worth £3,875.


Black Edition Special Edition Engines


The 1.0-litre petrol engine in the Polo Black Edition produces 113 hp and is mated to a DSG automatic transmission.


The Taigo Black Edition is available with the same 1.0-litre engine as the standard model, either with a manual or DSG automatic transmission or with a 1.5-litre engine producing 148bhp.


The 1.5-litre, 148bhp engine is the only engine available for the T-Roc and Golf Black Edition.


The car also comes with Golf Only with a manual gearbox, but the T-Roc can have automatic and manual gearboxes.
