And according to the Japanese newspaper Nikkei, today, Tuesday, February 21, Toyota plans to produce electric cars in the United States, noting that it is handing over the production plan to suppliers between 2023 and 2025.
It is scheduled to start producing 1,000 cars per month, and the volume of production will gradually increase to reach 10,000 cars by 2025.
The Japanese company aims to achieve global sales of one million units by 2026.
It is worth noting that Toyota is striving to enhance its range in the field of electric vehicles, and is currently building an electric vehicle battery factory in the North Carolina plant.
