Tesla exceeded expectations in the fourth quarter of 2022

The American company, headed by the famous American billionaire Elon Musk, announced at the end of 2022 a reduction in the prices of its cars around the world, which boosted car sales, despite the inconvenience caused by the announcement to new buyers in the United States and China.

For his part, Musk said, commenting on the results, that the demand in its current form does not represent any obstacle to the company's performance, stressing that the demand in January is greater than ever before and exceeds production rates.

He explained that despite the potential downturn in the global market at the current stage, the recent reductions in Tesla prices will boost consumer demand, as he put it.

The company expects to maintain production levels of 1.8 million vehicles annually after it managed to produce 1.7 million vehicles in 2022, an increase of 47 percent from 2021.

For 2023, Tesla is expected to maintain its lead in the production target, which is to reach 1.8 million cars annually, and the company produced 1.37 million cars in 2022, an increase of 47 percent from 2021.
