Officially unveiled Mini Cooper 2025 and its specifications

After unveiling the electric Cooper E and SE models last year, it revealed Mini Finally, the gasoline-powered counterparts of the three-door models.

The Mini Cooper Hardtop is now known as the Cooper C and Cooper S, with the former referring to the base model, just like what was used in the entry-level Mini Countryman.

All U.S.-spec three-door Mini Cooper Hardtop models are powered only by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder internal combustion engine, with the Cooper S sporting 201 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque (up from 189 hp).

This allows the hatchback to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds.

Power and performance figures for the Cooper C's 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, as well as transmission details, will be revealed closer to its market launch.

It should be noted that the Mini Cooper Si sold outside the United States has a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine, capable of producing 154 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque.

Design-wise, the fifth-generation Mini Cooper follows the simple look of the electric models without the vented octagonal grille.

The horizontal slot between the upper intakes houses BMW's smallest radar sensor, working with 12 ultrasonic sensors for driver assistance features.

The LED DRLs are horizontal by default but can be changed in three settings: Classic, Favored, or JCW.

The triangular taillights are matrix LEDs as well as having a hello/goodbye animation.

The 2025 Mini Cooper is approximately 152.6 inches long, 77.6 inches wide, and 56.4 inches high.

It has a 98.2-inch wheelbase, which is slightly shorter than its electric counterpart, although it's important to note that the gas-powered 2025 Mini Cooper is due to the larger overhangs.

Depending on the trim level, customization options include different body paint finishes, interior trim, and various 17- to 18-inch aluminum wheel designs.

The Preferred Trim Package comes exclusively with the Spray-Tech multi-color gradient roof design, which is available to customers in July.

Inside, the three-door Mini Cooper follows the electric models in cabin simplification, particularly the absence of a shifter in the center console.

The gear selector is now housed within the shift bar, along with important functions such as the parking brake, on/off switch, trial mode switch, and volume control. The center console is equipped with a wireless charging pad instead.

Unfortunately, the climate controls are now housed within a 9.4-inch OLED circular infotainment display called the Mini Interaction Unit, using the BMW Group's OS 9, which includes information about speed and fuel consumption.

Car production will begin Mini Cooper The US-spec 2025 three-door will arrive as early as next month, with a starting price of $32,000, while the Mini Cooper C will enter production in July 2024 with a base price of $28,950.
