Toyota Unveils Prices for the 2025 Highlander
Toyota has announced the price list for the 2025 Highlander models, both hybrid and gasoline-powered.
The midsize SUV, like many of Toyota's models, is available with both hybrid and non-hybrid engines.
Rising Hybrid Model Prices
For 2025, the starting price for the 2025 Highlander Hybrid is significantly higher than last year. This is because Toyota has discontinued the base LE Hybrid model, which previously started at $42,420. Now, the XLE serves as the entry-level hybrid, but its base price of $47,470 is about $5,000 higher than before.
2025 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Prices
The Highlander Hybrid now comes in a smaller range of trims. Alongside the aforementioned XLE, there are Limited and Platinum models, which now start at $51,925 and $55,125, respectively. These prices are $2,250 higher than their 2024 counterparts, largely because front-wheel drive is no longer the standard configuration. Now, all gas-electric Highlanders come with all-wheel drive.
2025 Gasoline Highlander Retains Its Prices
Those looking for a more budget-friendly Toyota Highlander will need to opt for the non-hybrid version. For 2025, the LE model's price remains unchanged, starting at $40,970. The XLE ($44,120) and Limited ($48,225) trims have not seen significant price hikes either. However, the sporty XSE trim and top-of-the-line Platinum trim have received notable increases. The XSE now starts at $47,790 (up $2,325), while the Platinum starts at $53,375 (up $2,200).
Improvements to the 2025 Highlander
Other enhancements for the 2025 Highlander include a standard 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster on the XSE, Toyota's “Beyond Zero” branding on all hybrid models, and two new paint colors: Cement and Heavy Metal.
To celebrate Highlander’s 25th anniversary, a special edition based on the Limited Hybrid is available, featuring special interior and exterior badges, along with additional comforts and color options.
